We have never flown with Southwest.
We are looking at November flights from PHL or BWI to MCO...
when do you think that schedule will be available.
I would like to book online for 3 adults and 1 senior and the cheapest
fares seem to be the "Wanna Travel"...since I am unfamiliar with this
airline would the DING rates be any less or should I just stick with
not downloading that software onto my computer.
Anyone have DING downloaded?

1. Look at the currently available schedule.
2. Take the latest date there and subtract today's date.
3. Subtract that number of days from the date you want to travel

out.

No, the Airline show was cancelled, although repeats are occassionally
shown.

They say (provisionally) that the schedule will be extended on April 17.

There is no harm in downloading Ding!  However, the deals/specials aren't as
good as they originally were.  There is a small chance that you'll get
something slightly better.  It's pretty much hit or miss, however.

I doubt it will cover all of November by then.

It didn't.  The new set of schedules came out last Friday (April 18) and
only goes as far as October 30.

Stop the chop by deleting it from my address.

yes, I saw that and figure it will be May 18th before they extend the
schedule into November.

Logically, every month, they add a month to the end of the schedule.

Coincidentally, I intend to book travel from PHL to MCO tomorrow, but
for a trip next month. Check US Airways before you book your air travel.
US Airways' flights from PHL to MCO are pretty competitive. Try to get a
non-stop flight. I also like Mr. Travel's idea about when to begin
checking Southwest for flight schedules that meet your needs.

I should have also mentioned that Southwest generally has better fares
than most carriers for last minute fares. However, when booking in
advance, other carriers are generally competitive with WN's fares.

The WN benefit is that if your plans change, there is no change fee, so
you don't have to whine about why you think you should pay less than the
agreed upon change fee. WN is also better for UM's (unaccompanied
minors) for non-stop trips as WN doesn't charge an UM fee.
Other carriers might charge $80 to $100 each way.

I don't fly WN for a variety of reasons, such as preferred seating, no
first class, no flights outside of CONUS, etc.
