Hi. I'm suffering from terminal cancer. My doctor has advised me to make
the best use of the time I have left. I've always wanted to visit Europe,
especially Austria. I love kangaroos and I was wondering if anyone knows
if there are petting zoos there where I could go and feed them, or do they
just roam around freely in the wild? Does anyone have a suggestion on the
best airline and rates to get me to my destination? I'd prefer a plane
that won't charge me for an extra seat. Thanks.

See what happens when anyone who would frequent a group such as
alt.obituaries manages to escape into the wild..?
Don't feed the troll.
Who hasn't heard the Austria/kangaroos thing yet..?

The Kiwi is the national bird of New Zealand.
"Kiwi" shoe polish is an Australian brand - the makers were confused.

And the kiwi *fruit* used to be called the Chinese gooseberry, confusing not
only the country but the type of bird as well....r

You're not wrong about the country of origin, Draney, but if you can
find the exact same fruit growing anywhere in China, you'll have found a
bush originating in New Zealand.

Yeah, I know...and Panama hats actually come from Ecuador, camel-hair paint
brushes are made of squirrel fur, and the movie "Surf 2" wasn't a sequel to
anything....r

And coffee tables aren't made of coffee.

The Kiwi is a fruit. Just like you.

Well, that's the last we'll see of Greg. I do believe you've finally
crushed him for good with that final thrust of wit.

It's certainly difficult to find a comeback to his level of wit!

Sorry to hear about your problem but someone else will also tell you
that you are thinking of Australia not Austria. Just follow the funny
accent and you will find it. As for fares. they vary constantly so go
to someone like www.sidestep.com and do a search. And yes, they have
petting zoos for them.

Please do not feed the trolls. Perhaps one day, they'll have petting
zoos where we can go and throw things at them.

Thank you for your help John. I'm a bit confused as I'm on heavy pain
medication and the drugs do not sit well with my anti-convulsive drugs.

Don't forget to visit Mozart's house.
He kept several pet kangaroos, and their descendants roam around the garden.
If you talk to them nicely they may even show you the Abominable Snowman.

Antonio Salieri, ever jealous of his young colleague, had apparently placed an
order for a shipment of Tasmanian devils but cancelled it when Mozart took
ill....

Sorry to hear that.

You are lucky to have a very competent doctor. I guess he advised you
to spend the remaining time outside Yankistan.

Many European zoos have kangaroos, so don't worry. Feeding them is
probably forbidden, but I'm sure the zoos will make an exception with
you. Just tell animal attendants your story.

I did my best to find such an airline and plane, but I wasn't able to
find any. But remember, you're investing on quality time. Time outside
Yankistan is always quality time.
> Thanks.
Thanks, I hope I was of some help.
