For over 8 years, I lived and taught English in Asia. It was an easy
life, and I was able to save money as well as take time to travel. You
might want to try teaching English in Japan, South Korea, or Taiwan.

Had a look at the Taiwan website and found it quite useful.

Take the 'blacklist'with a grain of salt. Nearly every school has
upsides and downsides and blacklists often attract perpetual whiners
and ne'er-do-wells

Have a look at:  www.tealit.com for job and other info in Taiwan.
