Hey all!
I´m going to leaf my f..... country to visit Thailand again.
This time, it will be the april.
One of my first interest is to try a little bit snorkeling.
Have anybody tried to snorkel in april?
How was it and where have you doen that. (sorry - my english!)

Indeed, very hot. Use LOADS and loads of sunscreen. Don't get as
horribly sunburnt as I did during my first visit to Thailand.

I have been there in april and may and YES it was hot
especially in Ayuttaha!!
Has anybody snorkeld in this time - and ...where ?

IMHO april is the best time for thailand because of songkran :-)
It is quite warm, but very comfortable at the beach. End of april snorkeling
starts to be virtually impossible. Due to the incresing size of the waves
the water isn't clear anymore.
But most time of april it should be ok.

Aproaching the monsoon season but I was there in May snorkelling (around phi
phi and most days it was ok) phuket water was a bit murky from rain though.

Thanx for the info.
2 years ago, i took all my snorkeling equipment with me (backpack)
with the result : i could´nt snorkel one day (koh Chang).
This time i going to visit Ko Lanta or Ko Tao in april - again with my
equipment.
Do you have a site on the net ?
