It was like a mini-Dubai, a bit antiseptic, and lots of construction sites. In fact it's rather obvious they're trying to emulate their bigger neighbour with so many huge infrastructure projects and annoying "sports" like motorboat racing. Doha's Corniche is pleasant if plain, but I think the way Dubai is ruining its traditional waterfront is criminal. Cheers, George W. Russell Bangalore |
