We're just back from HK and China.
Hong Kong is an easy destination. The HKTA produces a huge amount of high
quality information, and the public transport netwprks are very good. The
local people are helpful, and the level of English spoken is reasonably
high!
Book a hotel through a discounter (Asia Hotels, Hotel Club, Zuji etc), get
an Octopus Card on arrival at the airport - and away you go!

If you mean www.asiahotels.com then no problem, we've used them several
times. You pay the hotel yourself. After your stay you are asked to fill in
a short questionaire, the results along with reviews are published on the
website.
