Hi there, there are many hawker centres in Singapore
Famous tourist hawkers (ie. pricey) includes...

1. Newton Circus
2. Beach Road (near Lavender MRT Stn)
3. Bugis Market
4. Glutton something something @ Esplanade (*NEW*)
5. Lau Pa Sat (5 mins walking distance from Raffles Place MRT)

Of course the cheaper range will be those in the neighbourhood area.
If you would like to try them, hop on the MRT and you can go t
stations like...

1. Bedok
2. Kallang
3. Paya Lebar
4. Clementi

Or via North East Line...

1. Harbourfront
2. Chinatown
3. Dhoby Ghaut (short walking distance to Selegie Road)
4. Little India

Trust, its not difficult to find hawker ctrs in singapor

Other hawker centres are also quite good.

E.g. the one behind Centrepoint (Level 2, Starhub Centre)

Go to a bookstore and buy a copy of The Makansutra.

On-line, try here: <http://makantime.com/> or

Then use this <http://www.streetdirectory.com.sg/> to find your way
around.

Observe that Newton is being renovated and therefore closed for quite some
time.
