We tried that in soc.culture.thai. It didn't work. I didn't post there for over six months, but my name and address kept showing up on a regular basis... but with a tracing route from London instead of Thailand. He just spoofs my name and address and carries on as if I'm still there, talking to himself. It's his goal to get attention, and if he doesn't get it from group members, he spoofs them to to validate his existence. Usually I only see what he writes when someone else quotes it. I generally don't bother to read his posts unless someone writes to me to tell me that there is an especially ludicrous message from him. However, thanks for at least taking the effort to think of ways to stop him. There are quite a few 'professionals' looking into the matter as well. Unfortunately, due to laws concerning anonymous remailers in the UK, this weasel is hard to pin down. The remailers don't spool messages or keep any records of alias' used.
