No idea where the mock jade Buddha is. FWIW......British Columbia jade is
nephrite and true jade is jadeite.
B.C. jade lacks all the qualities that make 'jade' a valued stone. Similar
to comparing a Big Mac with the phrase 'good food'.

Hi Somchai,

The other day I was in this store......the young woman at the desk says,
"Wow, you smell really nice".  As this is not the usual reaction I get from
young women
I was a bit taken aback, then I realized  it was the teak dust on my clothes
that she thought smelled so fine. Now, that's my kind of woman !

Still making teak decking, still building teak and cedar boats.

                    best regards......Ken

Hmmmm, a new men's deodorant fragrance perhaps Ken : "Old Teak"  I can
see the advertising now.

Drive the women in your life wild with ...."Old Teak" ...Are you ready
for it??

That's right Michael it's at Wat Thammamongkhon in Sukhumwit Soi 101,
carved from a solid block of jade.

Thanks Sandy !
