Just returned from 3 week photography trip to Myanmar. Wonderful people and
country with not so wonderful government. I've just added a new page of
photos  to my website at http://www.msphoto.ca/Myanmar.htm

You certainly know how to take some great photos. I just wish the ones
I took on my trips were half as good as yours.

Thanks Chris. It's a pretty enjoyable place to photograph. Very few tourists
compared to anywhere else in S.E. Asia. There were several German and French
group tours but very few backpackers. Very inexpensive to travel, but bad
roads, though several newer airlines with new planes and most internal
flights less than $100.
Have to carry in your own cash. No plastic or traveller's checks or ATM's.
Internet is very basic if available.
I was really pleasantly surprised with the country.

Very nice photos, though they're too small!
I have 6 pages of similar sights at http://buten.net/max/index.html#Myanmar

and Jane Rosemont has many good ones at

Beautiful photos - thank you for putting those up for us to see.  I've
been to other parts of SE Asia, but have not yet made it to  Myanmar -
it looks amazing, and you are a very skilled photographer.

I have also visited Myanmar in March.
It's nice , no need to change minimum currency.
Too bad one has to travel with wads of cash..
Nice people, good food, bad roads and transports.
Thanks for nice photo show !
Good memories.......
