I would like to find travel information about Jordan (Amman, Aqaba and
Petra), even try to contact any local agency. Did you know any other news
group than this, I'm not sure this is the group for my posts...? :-)

Thanks in advance !!

the local tourist office has a very nice webpage.
I have been to Jordan once and I am going back this summer.

Normally you do not  need any travel agency
you can stay in any good hotel in Amman and hire a car with driver
The best things to see are
jerash ( old roman town very well preserved)
Petra ( you will need two days)
Aqaba ( red sea)

to give you an idea of hotel prices.. go to

www.asiatravel.com

but of course there are many more..

Add a trip through Wadi Rum to that list. You shouldn't miss that!

Here are some pictures from when I was there:

You'll love the trip.

Thanks for the information. How the filling is in the Aqaba zone after
attacks in Dahab?

Yours,

Albert

This is the right usegroup.

The best web site on Jordan is Ruth's: http://www.jordanjubilee.com.  We
used it extensively.

Mansour Mouasher has 40 albums of photos of Jordan at
http://www.pbase.com/mansour_mouasher/

And there are my photos at the site below.
