Hey everybody
My girlfriend and I are going to Thailand the 22. July and will stay
there for 3 weeks.
We will start the holiday by taking 4 days on Koh samet. I will like to
surprise my girlfriend by ordering a very fine, good and romantic hotel
on Koh samet. But which hotel???
After some surf I had found Le Vimarn Cottages and Ao Prao Resort are
these the best hotel on the island??
Thanks in advance
Jimmi, Denmark

In general Koh Samet is rather low key (and yet most attractive for
beachcombers). There are no luxury hotels on the island.

Have fun, ko samet is beautiful

Samed Villa is a very nice and well kept place. Probably the best in
the central area.
Most other accomodation there is overpriced and low standard. Samed is
not a great place to spend you holiday anyway, most islands in
Thailand are better.

Hi Jimmi
I agree with others here. Ko Samet does not have the quality
accommodation. Ko Chang would be better. However you should be aware
that that area is in it's rainy season at that time.
Have you thought about Ko Samui? That has a wide range of accommodation
and it should be drier there (it is protected from the south-west
monsoon).
Wherever you go I am sure you will have a great trip: Thailand is a
fantastic holiday destination.
