I've got one with adjustable legs that I bought on eBay a few years ago.
Works OK, but it's a little flimsy.
The one from Campingworld (non-adjustable legs) is a whole lot sturdier.

I bought mine when I bought the internet satellite system from a
Direcway dealer. It is a surveyor's tripod and I'm sure you could find
one on-line. Maybe a call to a construction company or your state DOT
will give you a supplier in your area.

Do you mean that the legs telescope? Or do you mean that the "feet"
flex. My tripod has flexible feet, but I have never seen one for a
satellite that had telescoping legs. You might search some of the
camera shop sites for one like that and make a few adaptations.

Telescoping legs and feet don't matter. I just switched from dish- dual
lnb - to directv 3 lnb so I can get HD.
3lnb stand really needs to be level as to get all 3 sats.

I have a collection of those orange blocks that were made as leveling
blocks for RVs, but were much too lightweight for any of ours. They were
very useful for leveling the tripod in difficult terrain because I could
stick a long metal tent peg through the hole in the tripod foot and the
holes in the orange blocks.
Have you tried one of those right-angle post levelers. I found them to
be very helpful.

Janet, I'm glad you posted that ... I have NEVER been able to use those
things for Anything ... now I know what they are REALLY for! LOL

I made mine from a Wineguard. I took off the original legs and used
3/4" square tube that fits inside of 1" square tube.

The smaller tube slides inside the larger (1" ) tube. There are thumb
screws to "lock" the legs at whatever height you need.

How heavy duty? I have one that came with my Hughes Net Dusty Foot
satellite dish. It is sort of a surveyors tripod, and quite heavy duty. I
no longer need it, so if you are interested, send me a note and we should be
able to work something out.

One of the Direcway Satellite dealers should be able to get you a
tripod similar to this:

This is nothing but a tripod that you can purchase at Sears or most
building supply stores like Lowes. It is normally sold to support a
construction level or Transit.

Not sure how HD you need but. I converted an old camera tripod to
accept a dish. Has never let me down and I built this when small sat
receivers were fairly new, ~10-12 yrs ago.

Keep in mind that the big HD dishes are fairly heavy, like the
internet dishes. One of the parts in all of the internet tripod
solutions is an offset adapter, that centers the weight over the
tripod. If you don't do that, it is off-balance and much easier to
push over when the wind is from behind.
The designer of the offset was Terry Cannon, who patented it and then
expressly released the patent for any other dealer to copy. He sells
them himself, along with many different designs of tripods that are
heavy-duty. His HD page is
