Hi
I found a delightful small RV park right across the road from Rayburn
Country (where I have a vacant lot). It has free WIFI, honor system
washer and dryer, gravel pads nestled among the trees, full hook-ups,
no pool. I am sure this is the one the resort used to own or operate.
We will be headed that way sometime in the fall.
Now here is my next question. One of my favorite fishing spots used to
be Powderhorn Lake, which is connected by a narrow strait to Matagorda
Bay, just northwest of Port Oconnor, Texas. My father-in-law and I
used to fish the "downstream" tide flows on either side of the
strait. That was back when you could catch all the speckled trout you
wanted. We would catch trout, reds, flounder, black drum, etc.
There is an RV park right on Powderhorn Lake, the Indianola RV Park &
Marina. Has anybody stayed there? How was it?

It's in Indianola, Texas, which is near Port Oconnor. I had tried the
website and it does not seem to be there.
