Naw Linus.....There won't be a conviction, but the bastard is making
big bucks double dipping using his position in the gov. like
he does with H.Burton...
He's a mega millionaire and still wants more. I hope his pacemaker
goes off like a pound of C-4 one of these days...

The indictment criticizes Cheney's investment in the Vanguard Group,
which holds interests in the private prison companies running the
federal detention centers. It accuses Cheney of a conflict of
interest

This is happening on my turf. The local DA who brought the indictments
is quite a character. This is his "last hurrah" before he leaves office
and no one here takes him seriously. Last year, while under indictment
himself by charges brought by a political rival who was the Sheriff, he
was banned from the courthouse so he set himself up with an RV trailer
in front of the building and a bunch of chickens and goats.
We expect the whole thing to go away, but it would be very interesting
if it didn't.
Willacy County, Texas is a poor county with mostly struggling farms and
ranches and little industry. Their biggest industry is the detention
center for the undocumented caught at the borders.

Prove it. Clinton got big bucks for pardoning criminals.

Check his donations to charity as opposed to your hero's.
As Barack Obama found out last week, when you run for president you
can’t even get away with being a lousy giver to charity. After Mr. and
Mrs. Obama released their tax returns, the press quickly noticed that,
between 2000 and 2004, they gave less than one percent of their income
to charity, far lower than the national average.

I guess he doesn't believe in tithing.
In 2005, another wealthy political couple with significant book
royalties was Mr. and Mrs. Cheney, who had a combined income of $8.8
million, largely due to Mrs. Cheney’s books and the couple’s investment
income. Just how much did the Cheneys give to charity from their
bonanza? A measly 78 percent of their income, or $6.9 million. (No, that
is not a misprint.)

Juanita Broadrick accused Clinton of rape and gave the gory details on
national TV.
The Serbs indicted Clinton for war crimes and he's still on the wanted
list. He has to be careful where he travels..... :)
