I am looking for a high resolution picture of the Sacramento, CA mileage
sign at the start (end) of Highway 50 in Ocean City, MD. If anyone can
point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. The only two
I've found on the web are low quality. Thanks.

Try the group misc.transport.road .

The real end of Highway 50 is at Fifth and Harrison streets, where one
comes off of the San Francisco Bay Bridge. It's also the end of
Highway 40. The beginnings of both highways are at Fifth and Bryant
streets, where one get on to the San Francisco Bay Bridge. Highway 40,
btw, ends in Atlantic City.

IC has a tendency to live in the past. US 50 hasn't gone to San
Francisco in decades. The California Streets and Highways code
says very clearly: "350. Route 50 is from Route 80 west of
Sacramento to the Nevada state line near Lake Tahoe via
Placerville."

You are dependable, Dave. I just knew you'd try to confuse the issue
with facts. But you know, of course, that I choose to reject them.

Highway 40 goes from Fifth and Bryant to Atlantic City.

Highway 50 goes from Fifth and Bryant to Ocean City.
