Hi,

We were SUPPOSED to take a trip to Hershey PA this upcoming weekend,
but heard the massive rains have flooded parts of PA.  However,
newcasts didn't mention Hershey.

Anyone from the area and know if Hershey has been damaged or should be
avoided?

Thanks!

I checked on http://www.weather.com and the forecast for Saturday is
cloudy and isolated thunderstorms for Sunday. I didn't see any info
there about flooding one way or the other.

I am sure a quick google search or a phone call to the hotel where you
are staying should result in further information.

Thank you for the backhanded "look it up yourself and don't ask us
stupid" response, very helpful.

1. We have no hotel reservations and have found hotel, when called,
will say all is well hoping to get a reservation. Once you are there
and see damage, too late to drive home.

2. We also searched google and found little mention of Hershey, that is
why we posted hoping those living nearby would respond.

Perhaps finding little mention of Hershey means Hershey is OK.

While a response from someone in Hershey would be best, perhaps
http://newweb.erh.noaa.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=ctp&gage=herp1&view=1,1,1,1,1,1
may be useful. I suggest a good look at Google Maps/Earth coupled with
some real-time info might be a good idea. You might also try the web
sites of nearby (Harrisburg) TV stations.
