The Edmonton Police received 57 official complaints of brutality, following the Oilers games. These included the 2 notorious attacks - the bashing of 20 year old Kristin Wilson's face into the pavement while she was already handcuffed, , and the illegal tasering of 66 year old lawyer Brian Fish. Both of these assaults by cops occurred 17 June 2006. The police want to have more of these complaints settled through mediation, rather than through court trails, because then the crooked cops can cover up their criminality!! I was not there but I DO KNOW that even with my hands cuffed I can kick like a mule. So, I am giving the officers the benefit of the doubt on this one...personally, anyone on the mile should be in jail. I blame the MEDIA big time for creating such a monster and they should have to pay the extra cost of the police service ( about 3 million dollars or so I believe it was). They, the MEDIA, have to learn to be more responsible for their actions.
