If you either live in or will travel to the Bay Area (including
Silicon Valley) and specifically San Francisco, do check out
myRedbook.

myRedbook
---------
http://www.myredbook.com/

It is a web site that serves as a supermarket where customers hook up
with prostitutes working in the Bay Area.  The prostitutes come from
various countries and have a wide range of ages.

myRedbook contains reviews of the prostitutes, including those who
work at the Mitchell Brothers O'Farrell Theater (MBOT).  The MBOT is
located at 895 O'Farrell Street, San Francisco, California.

The MBOT is a well-known strip club (in San Francisco) that has morphed
into a brothel.  The MBOT has many private booths (and many private
rooms) where you can enjoy prostitution services in total privacy.

myRedbook also maintains a discussion forum where customers and
prostitutes talk about their adventures.

myRedbook forum
---------------
http://forum.myredbook.com/cgi-bin/dcforum2/dcboard.pl

The arrogant people affiliated with myRedbook and with the MBOT
(1) believe that they are beyond the reach of law enforcement and,
(2) mockingly, consider law enforcement to be impotent.

Indeed, local law enforcement (in the counties of San Francisco, San
Mateo, and Santa Clara) and federal law enforcement have made no
attempt whatsoever in shutting down myRedbook and arresting the
culprits maintaining the web site.  Apparently, no one cares that
myRedbook is facilitating the sale of sex across state lines.

Since no one cares, you should decide whether you want to use myRedbook
and whether you want to patronize the prostitutes at the MBOT.

WARNING:  You should assume that the employees of myRedbook use various
strategies (e.g. recording and tracing your Internet-Protocol
address) to defeat law enforcement.  These strategies could
         compromise your privacy.

DISCLAIMER:  I am not affiliated with either myRedbook or the Mitchell
Brothers O'Farrell Theater (MBOT).   I neither condemn
nor condone the prostitution that myRedbook facilitates
and that occurs at the MBOT.  I am not attempting to sell
anything.  I am simply directing you to some information
that appears at myRedbook or that is related to the MBOT,
and this information is strictly for academic study.

The "Don't-miss sights in San Francisco" page
http://geocities.com/iconoc/Articles/Sights.html has enough to keep
you busy for nine twelve-hour days. It includes links to your best
source of advice on where to eat here, the UseNet Group ba.food, and
the quite-good sfSurvey. It also has a weather chart with a link to
current conditions.

The best on-line map of San Francisco is an inter-active PDF created
for the San Francisco Municipal Railway:
http://geocities.com/iconoc/Grafix/CityWide.pdf. I recommend 150% or
greater magnification. There's also a link that will tell you how to
get There from Here. Other links on the page,
http://geocities.com/iconoc/Grafix/FlagMaps.html are a map of our
cable car routes and a superb map of Golden Gate Park.

The frequently-updated SPECIAL EVENTS page has irregularly-scheduled
music and dances as well as links to seven calendars of
regularly-scheduled dances, a composite of five of them, and one of
dance cruises and events around the world:
