I'm traveling to Kampala, Uganda in May. On the return I have nites
layover in London. Looking for sugestions as to where to get a hotel
close to Heathrow, at a reasonable price. Any ideas???

We have never been to Africa and I would like opinions, please.  We plan to
spend just 10 nights in South Africa, not including travel time to/from the
USA.
Our only available dates for this year fall between June 21 and Aug 23,

In 2002 I got a visa at border post. No problem when had SA visa stamped in
passort.

I'm thinking of a trip through Southern Africa next year, together with my
