It's great that Australia is helping African doctors to get the hell out of Africa and come to Australia to work as taxi drivers. For a start there is little chance of catching AIDS and you can make a lot more money because your clients don't end up dead.

What's the real story on cost of lodging in Accra? Rest of Ghana? I see alot of very high prices for rooms for a 3rd world country on the web. Yet the Lonely Planet says they're cheap,$10-20. Hoteliers are complaining to the government that they're prices

firstly, sorry slightly off group, but may strike lucky.. The wife has finally nagged me into going on safari later this year.. I've been resisting as its all a little too land based for me.. so she's made it a little more appealing by allowing some diving too.
