someone knows whether there is a ferry from Tenerife to Africa? I want to go from Tenerife (or Cran Canaria) to Western Sahara, Mauritania or Senegal. The only way I found is to go to Cadiz (Portugal) and from there to Marocco.

In considering my options for seeing the eclipse next March 29, I read in the Lonely Planet guide to Libya that tourists are admitted to the country only as members of organized tours. Does anybody have contrary experience or information?
