Can anyone advise on the likely weather conditions during May in Capetown area. Also along the Capetown to Port Elizabeth route. I know it is getting into the early winter, but is it a good time to visit these areas. Also thinking of visiting the Shamwari Game Reserve

I'm comparing prices for renting a car for a 23d journay through South Africa. Up to now "National Car Rental" and "Drive South Africa" gives interesting rates. Is there someone who does have experience with these compagnies.

I'm at Dahab but heading south to Hurghada (a ferry is available i think) with the intention of going overland to Marsa Alam, some 270 km at least. There is certainly a coast road on the map
