South Africa to Mauritania11 Dec 2005 19:22 GMT3
Good day all,
I might "have" to go to Mauritania for a short while next year. Does
any carrier fly direct from Johannesburg to Nouakchot?
If I have to fly different carriers, I'd prefer to use SAA for one

SA vs BA09 Dec 2005 08:39 GMT4
We're just back to the US from South Africa, using SA Airways for
the first time in several years. Service and food were OK,
as good as any airline, I suspect.
The better news is the legroom in economy class.

Live Botswana Waterhole webcam - Update07 Dec 2005 20:10 GMT4
The webcam is still down - the modem is broken - so they are showing a 6

However, NGM are expecting to be back up and running around the 16th
November so log on again this week to see if they're running.
East Coast U.S. to South Africa: Halfway07 Dec 2005 06:25 GMT1
I don't think I could tolerate a 24 hour flight. What cities in Europe
are about halfway between Boston and South Africa? I'd like to relax
for a day or two in a cheap hotel. Would that point be beyond Europe?
Thank you.

anyone advise on his/her experiences and reliable travel agency?
I think about all inclusive or almost all inclusive trip.

Cairo Guides05 Dec 2005 12:29 GMT1
We are going to be taking a very short stopover in Cairo in
mid-May next year - basically three nights. In that time all
I expect to see are the Pyramids and the museum. Yeah, I
know, not enough time.
I look for some interesting and unusual traditions and rituals in Africa.05 Dec 2005 07:10 GMT10
Hi, I am a solitary traveller and the video camera is my inseparable
companion. I like to look for unusual traditions and rituals of ethnic
groups in danger of extinction. Primordial people.
I have gone to many countries around the world but I know Africa a
Buying medicines in Marrakech > UK03 Dec 2005 21:27 GMT1
I will be travelling to Marrakech soon and am considering buying a small
stock of standard medicines that are available only on prescription in the
UK (antibiotics & painkillers), to bring back with me to the UK, for
