Being an amateur astronomer, I've always wanted to see the Southern night sky, which of course means travelling South of the Equator. It doesn't have to be very far South, though - just a few degrees would be OK.

I and my partner will be in South Africa from September 6th to the 16th. We will be traveling from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth and back. Our stops along the way include Hermannus, Oudtshoorn, Addo, Tsitsikamma, Wilderness, De Hoop, Boulders Beach, and a few other places.
