Here we go once again. The last time I posted on this subject I pointed

Are Record Locator Numbers (6 alpha-numeric characters) globally unique
or unique within a particular airline reservation system (they are
sometimes called Airline Record Locator Numbers)?
If they are globally unique, what is the issuing authority? Also (siilar

Just a FYI to future airtran passengers who might want to volunteer
their seats for 'compensation' wish we had known this ahead of time.

HOUSTON, TX, USA  In view of the "Shoe Bomber" incident and considering that
smoking is prohibited on all flights and in airport terminal buildings, I
believe that

I was told that I may get a better price if I can just go to the
airport and ask to get on a plane.

Recently, someone asked if everyone who passes through into the secure
area of airports was subject to being screened by security.  I don't
recall the thread, and I think this is general interest RTA stuff, so

If you have been flying on "other airlines" all your life, what's the first
thing you notice

When will the airlines (Spirit or Northwest) start discounting fares for
November (before Thanksgiving)?

I miss living in Wisconsin and working in Chicago...
They just love their cloak-n-dagger politics!  They promise citizens
to keep regional airports open, then bulldoze them in the middle of
the night.  And this...hehehehe.

Ok this may sound like a dumb question but can anyone out there tell
me if USAirway's Express flights on DEHAVILLAND DASH 8 TURBOPROP
planes operating on the east coast (out of CLT, Newport News, etc)
have Airfone service onboard?
