Will be going IAH\OAK next month (almost 4 hr flt). Seems I get a "snack". Going out - will arrive 11:40 (not lunchtime). Coming back - will pass the dinner hour. Snack? What snacks?? Or should I take my own?

Hi all Yesterday, having nothing better to do, my wife and I decided to check out the new Bart extension to SFO. This has been ballyhooed for years as the savior of public transportation to and from the airport. The results were somewhat less that encouraging.

Does anyone know why most airline websites, as well as Orbitz and Hotwire, will only sell tickets if they are purchased using a credit card whose billing address is in the country where the flight originates?

in august I am flying from Zagreb to Atlanta and will rent a car for 3 weeks. So far the best inclusive rates I found are on www.usa-carrental.com. They charge 780$ for an intermediate car/21 days/CDW+SLI included. By far better then holidayautos.com.

I'll be flying from Paris to New York soon and will need to rent a car for 3 weeks. I was told that since I don't have a US car insurance that I will need to purchase the "Loss Damage Waiver" when renting a car in NYC. I checked Hertz, Avis, Alamo etc. and LDW seems to be arround ...

Friends will be flying CDG-AMS next month on Varig... since both France and the Netherlands are Schengen member states, does that also mean for sure that particular flight will not require customs/immigrations processing? I.e., friends will just step off the plane and walk directly ...
