I have a certain pair of shoes that I take off before going through security. The shoe lace holes are metal (I think. I'm always asked to take them off). How can I tell if these shoes will set off any alarms without having to go through the detector?

Has anyone used an American Airlines flight voucher? I got one last spring when I as bumped on a flight. I was wondering how I use it. Do I have to call and make reservations, or can I do it online? And can I use it on one of cheap flight finder websites?

I don't care how cheap they are, it is not worth it. They lost 4 passengers' baggage on my flight alone. When they finally found it, they couldn't even get it to me in time or return my calls and tell me where they were. On top of that, they delivered them to the wrong address.
