flirting in Business/First Class?09 Sep 2003 05:40 GMT4
maybe a 'sexist' question....but how much more 'tolerant' are the female FAs
of you flirting with them as compared to those in coach class?
having recently started flying first and business class, i have been
*surprised* (in a good way :)) how much more the FAs play the flirting ...
5,000 More Air Marshals?  Nope.08 Sep 2003 23:20 GMT9
I love this - the media trumpets the news - "Bush Administration
adding 5,000 to roles of Air Marshals."
OK, so read the story - they're going to make it possible to
cross-train Customs and INS agents to work as Air Marshals.

I got a MCO from Air Canada will be expired soon next month. I call
two agents to ask how to extend it, but the replies are different. One
said it's Ok until the existing one should be expired first and then
new one can be released to me with 25 CAD charged. The other agent

Seat Maps08 Sep 2003 14:39 GMT10
I know there has been a website posted on here which will show you the
seating chart (which seats are available/which are taken) on any given
flight on a given day. Could someone post a link to that website if they
know it?
Aviation trivia question08 Sep 2003 09:05 GMT4
It's bugging me, but I can't remember which ad from the early '70's used the
Beatles song "Somewhere in the way she moves me".  It may not have been the
Beatles performing the song, but...
Anyone know?  I _think_ it was British Airways, but can't remember.  All I

Rights advocates slam new screening system
Conservative and liberal advocates are banding together to oppose new
airline passenger screening methods that they say will be a "quantum
leap" in government surveillance programs.

Business Class...the experience.07 Sep 2003 10:40 GMT23
OK, so we just got back from a RTW trip.  It was Biz Class all the way.
Now, I have mixed feelings on this business class thing and we have
experienced 4 different airlines BC service during this trip (actually
Hawaiian First Class... same as BC).
Agents not understanding how E-Tickets work06 Sep 2003 18:38 GMT24
Twice now when checking in at an airport outside the US (once in
Bangkok and once in Frankfurt) I've had the odd experience of having
to explain to an airline staff person what an e-ticket is.  The
conversation goes something like this:

- Airline tickets06 Sep 2003 09:10 GMT3
Where do you folks go to find airline tickets? I went to expedia.com
first and then to orbitz.com, and Orbitz had tickets nearly $100
cheaper! I just assumed that all of these online ticket search places
would find the same fares. Guess I was wrong!
flying vs driving06 Sep 2003 07:01 GMT32
Now it seems I can get to my destination quicker if I drive than if I fly
I often go between Phoenix and Southern California (Los Angeles or
Orange county) I can leave my house at about 10pm and be in Southern
