I am travelling to San Diego, California to collect samples of soil for
my research (I am a biologist studying certain organisms found in soil).

I was detained for about 15 minutes when I flew into MAN, apparently the
immigration officer didn't take too well when I told him I was getting
married when they asked me about the "purpose of (my) trip." But ...
