CANADA Resident Cards Required for Re-Entry08 Nov 2003 21:37 GMT4
Effective December 31, 2003, permanent residents (incl. children) of Canada
must hold the new Canadian Permanent Resident card (PR card) for travel to
Canada.  The PR card will replace Form IMM 1000 (Record of Landing Form),
which will no longer be accepted as of this date.

I don't know all the facts, but this seems like a bad move on Mexicana's
part.  But maybe they have plans to join another alliance.

I imagine that all full-service airlines (in the US) deal with
upgrades in the same way.  Specifically my experiences and questions
are about US Air.
