Current Air Fares07 Jan 2004 18:34 GMT2
What's with the current air fare prices?  I usually travel to WDW every
other year, and pay approximately $225 from the NY/NJ area.  Current prices
quoted are $385 - $550?  Can't afford that plus Disney too!
We are traveling in April - so are hoping for a "sale" of some sort soon.

Hiroshima justified? (wasRe: Enola Gay: Burnt flesh and other magnificent technological achievements)07 Jan 2004 10:42 GMT270
First, the Enola Gay exhibit? Nothing wrong with that. A museum's role
is put important artifacts and items on display. You want details,
read a book.

Um, I thought online booking was supposed to be cheaper?07 Jan 2004 09:31 GMT7
I am new to this online booking but having looked around sites like

am finding that their online prices are much more expensive than the prices
offered in my local travel agents?
Legroom: Swiss A330 or American B767?07 Jan 2004 01:13 GMT2
My question will be quite straight-forward. I have to book a ZRH-JFK flight,
and my best choices (because of price and schedule) are Swiss or AA. Swiss
operates an A330-200, while AA operates a B767-300.
Which airplane has more comfort and legroom for tall people, in economy
Trip report LHR - CMB return on Sri Lankan06 Jan 2004 21:31 GMT6
Heathrow was its usual heaving self even on a mid week evening. I think it
is a really average airport & not a patch on AMS or KUL. Check in opened
three hours before departure.
Despite being in the first 20 in the queue and being told on the phone it
Why don't airlines also do charter jets?06 Jan 2004 19:25 GMT18
This evening, I watched a documentary on TV about the rise of private jets.
During it, they talked about the rise of charter jet companies.  These being
companies from whom you can charter a private jet from a one-time use to
something along the lines of a time-share.  Anyway, what ...

The cheapest offer was Munich-Moskow-Bangkok by Aeroflot Russian

Powerports on 757, Again06 Jan 2004 08:29 GMT15
I read the last thread on this subject but still need help.  757 powerports
deliver 15VDC.  We want to operate a DVD player which requires 9VDC input.
I looked at Radio Shack 'Juice70', #273-1867 for $119.00.  For a DVD player,
looks like the Juice is overkill and I would rather not ...
