Do I dare then?28 Jan 2004 20:08 GMT29

Opodo, Expedia, airline's own sites, TravelSupermarket etc. etc.) for fares
BHD-MEL (or even DUB-MEL) and are just getting ridiculous ...

Right now, the Bird Flue problem seems to be getting worse. How long before
airlines start to feel the effect ?  How long before airports put back the

Web booking: early bird gets cheaper prices?28 Jan 2004 11:18 GMT5
It seems to be an accepted fact that for budget flight operators such
as Easyjet, the nearer the time to departure you book the higher is
the seat cost.
Is this true of the "blue chip" airlines: BA, KLM, Air France etc. who
Embraer seating28 Jan 2004 08:13 GMT19
Have a trip coming up via Continental Express on an Embraer RJ135.
Haven't seen one.  From a seating chart online, it looks like the front two
seats on the right side will have more leg room.  I'm 6' 5" and dread the
cramped seating.

Air Miles Scheme28 Jan 2004 00:02 GMT4
Does anyone know which companies you can actually collect paper Air Miles
from, you see an awful lot of these for sale on ebay but to my knowledge all
companies now use the electronic method of  passing  Air Miles on to their
customers.

Using status to enter lounges.27 Jan 2004 17:50 GMT2
Once airside can I use my silver status (exec club) to use the lounges even
if I am not flying on a one world airline.  I presume I cannot.  Do they
need to see my ticket.  I just thought I'd ask anyway because when I have
flown club world before, those with cards did not show their ...

Heard something like 12,000
