Had an interesting experience yesterday flying from DEN to ORD.  Due to
weather at ORD, we were put into a hold pattern over Kansas City for about
40 minutes.  At that time, the captain turned on Channel 9 so we could
listen in.  We were United 942 but our call sign to ATC was ...
Airline FF Competition05 Mar 2004 08:46 GMT3
I saw a UA add recently, and was waiting for others to followup.
I got a CO email yesterday, and an AA one today.

ticket. If you fly more than 10000 miles, you can get triple miles
AA A300-600  Dispatch Reliability...05 Mar 2004 06:08 GMT16
I have heard that the A300-600R in AA's fleet have a lower dipatch
reliability than their fleet of Boeings (757,767,737,777) and MD-80's.
I was also told that the Fokkers were not very reliable either. The
727 fleet was more reliable than the Fokkers.

Switzerland in June.  I have choices to fly out of Luton or Heathrow.
Can anyone tell me how large Luton is vs Heathrow.  Is it very small
with all terminals close together or is it larger like Heathrow. As a

Leaving all engines running at the gate04 Mar 2004 13:59 GMT22
Recently at SJU I saw an IB A340-600 arrive from Madrid that left all
four engines running during the 2 hours that it was at the gate before
continuing to Santo Domingo.  After all the passengers got off the
entire crew, both cabin AND cockpit crew got off and went to the

Later this year am doing LGW-BCN with EZY.  This will be my first time with
EZY and was wondering if someone could explain their policy at check-in of
not assigning seats works, in terms of deciding (at the gate) who gets on
the plane first.
