I've accumulated 27,000 Star Alliance points, and was wondering if this was
realy worth anything?
I'm soon doing a long-haul flight (London/Sydney via LA return) and would
like to bump up even one of the legs to a better class. Is this possible?

The main on-line booking engines don't seem to come up with anything.

of using the train, i chose Air Southwest, the manchester to Bristol
service.
I got to Manchester airport 2 hours before the departure time of 16.00
