Why no large planes on intra-European flights?25 Apr 2004 18:28 GMT11
As far as I know, there are no airlines (or perhaps very few?) that do
intra-European scheduled flights on large planes such as B747, B777, A330 or
A340. On the other hand, in Asia it is very normal that short to medium
distance flights are performed on these larger aircraft. I am ...

I was somewhat surprised yesterday, when booking a package holiday to Greece
at a First Choice High Street  retail outlet for 6 May 2004 to be told that
I would have to pay a "late ticket fee" of £18 as, apparently, the company,
First Choice, are unable to supply me with tickets for ...

London to New York on Kuwait Airways25 Apr 2004 03:32 GMT4
Using the internet I have found what appears to be a very cheap flight
from London to New York on Kuwait Airways.  Can someone please tell me
whether the flight is direct from London to New York, or is it London
- Kuwait - New York?
Getting to Europe in the Summer25 Apr 2004 00:27 GMT1
I need to get to Western Germany for one week this summer, and as you
probably know, flights to Europe are exorbitant in the summer compared to
off-peak times. Nonetheless, is there a website where you can put in a
general time frame and be alerted when the price changes? I have ...

Federal crimes committed in newsgroup - Michael Voight24 Apr 2004 19:23 GMT3
Check out alt.visa.us.marriage-based.  It's a newsgroup where US citizens sell
green cards (hook up with foreign women who are looking to pay an American
citizen to marry them so they can immigrate to the US).  The ring leader is a
sleazy guy named Michael Voight.  He works for ...

Why do prices vary so much from flexible dates to exact dates?24 Apr 2004 08:04 GMT2
I was checking flights on Travelocity to Bangkok from Los Angeles
using flexible dates search. The prices were in some cases several
hundred dollars less than exact dates search. Why is their such a
discrepancy? My trip will probably be in August.

Food at Baltimore Aiport23 Apr 2004 20:00 GMT3
I'm going to have a 2 hour lay over at the Baltimore airport (BWI). It's my
first time at that airport. Is there any place there that serves decent food or
is just your typical airport so-so offerings. Thanks in advance.
