Legroom18 May 2004 16:31 GMT6
We are planning a round the world trip over Christmas/New Year.
I am 6'4" tall and always have legroom problems in economy class.
I have found out that American, Air France, Lufthansa and Air Canada have
more legroom than other airlines.
JFK-PEK?18 May 2004 10:02 GMT11
I found that one of the "virtual" airlines for flight simulator has a
JFK-PEK route on a 747.
I did not think any 747 would have the range to do JFK to PEK nonstop. I
thought the only
Deadwood and Drinking18 May 2004 01:42 GMT2
Is it just me or do other viewers feel the need to open a bottle of whiskey
5mins into every episode.
I was thinking of starting a drinking game much like the Withnail game
(Withnail and I is a cult British film involving a lot of alcohol). The Idea

Do you know if most US flights go up in price like June 1 - Aug 30?
For example a flight from Calif to Kauai in June is abolut $690
roundtrip.  Would it be that high until Sept 1?
Same question about hotel rates.  I saw a Vancouver brochure saying

London - LAX madness17 May 2004 16:48 GMT11
Have flight prices gone insane this year?
London to LAX, flying out 17-19th July, flying back 26th. Can't find a
bean under £560. Anywhere I should be looking aside from the usual
suspects?
Delta "Zone" boarding = stupid17 May 2004 16:35 GMT39
Wow, what a terrible airline. Their zonal boarding has to be the worst
system ever invented. It takes three times as long to board the airplane.
Yesterday I checked in 90 mintues before departure and was in the "final

Canada-Denmark one way17 May 2004 08:41 GMT2
As a Canadian, you are allowed to stay in Denmark for three months
without a visa. I guess there should be no problem if you have a
roundtrip with a set date to return to Canada but what if you only book
a one-way ticket to Denmark (if you for instance are not sure when to

Trip report LHR-ORD-SYR return17 May 2004 00:44 GMT3
25 March, AA87, LHR-ORD departed on time at 10.15, 100% full :-(  A
pretty unimpressive lunch served about 2 hours after take off followed
by a snack before an on time arrival at ORD Terminal 5.  Immigration
very fast meaning that non-US passport holders got through quicker than
