Update: Any advice for a tall person flying? (Long post)17 May 2004 00:05 GMT3
I thought I'd give an update on my experiences as a tall person flying

LGA parking question16 May 2004 23:31 GMT4
Any first-hand experience with a decent (low cost but safe) place to park at
LGA?
A parking garage will be fine and I plan on leaving it for about 3 days.
I assume the parking *in* LGA will be the most expensive.

According to my 'spy' at the route development team at Manchester Airport
plc, Air New Zealand are to start a Manchester - Los Angeles - Auckland
serve, twice a week from 1st February 2005. Good news for antipodean
travellers and west coast USA fans alike!
Would someone know about this?16 May 2004 16:15 GMT1

i.e. leg trouble...request a seat on the bulkhead right behind business

seat assignment16 May 2004 00:42 GMT21
A friend of mine tried to get seats assigned on a BA flight from LGW to
Antigua. The group of 12 she is travelling with include small children who
obviously tend to be disruptive during a long flight. Out of consideration
for other passengers she wants to sit them behind the adults ...

Satellites, etc. at  STN16 May 2004 00:16 GMT2
I'm transiting through STN next week for the first time in years (think I
haven't been there since 1997!).
Things will doubtless have changed and the BAA website is a little light on
terminal maps, so if those who are familiar with STN could advise on the

AA/BA frequent flier ripoff15 May 2004 16:47 GMT10
BlankRecently had a trip on AA that as one leg went from Denver to Heathrow
on BA. Frequent flier miles were refused by AA saying something to the
effect that BA has specifically excluded transatlantic flights from FF
rewards.

How do I change the ticket I booked using FF miles?15 May 2004 13:55 GMT2
I have four domestic tickets booked using my FF miles.  Now I need to
change the date of the return trip.  I was wondering what the rules
might be for that change?  When I booked the flight I was told by the
airline rep award tickets can be changed without penality.  But the
