BMO head east....15 May 2004 13:34 GMT4
Today, 14/05/2004, BMI had meetings with MAplc executives to work out their
plans for a Manchester to Mumbai and Manchester to Beijing service.
It looks like Manchester are up against LHR on both of these, and obviously
BMI want LHR rather than MAN....we shall see. Either way, it ...
Fitre Alarm at LGW15 May 2004 12:11 GMT1
Last Thursday at about 3 pm, while waiting for the 4 pm to Thessoloniki, the
fire alarm went off and the North Terminal was evacuated.  Within ten
minutes the all clear was announced and we immediately boarded and took off
on time.  Well done someone.

Wi-Fi at airports15 May 2004 09:46 GMT14
Just got a new laptop that has a Wi-Fi card.  I travel out of Chicago's
O'Hare (typically UA and UX terminals) and wondered if anyone can tell me
if there are any free wi-fi hot spots? I've looked at O'Hare's website but
couldn't find anything.
BA On-line check-in info15 May 2004 08:26 GMT21
Can anyone confirm what happens at the airport if I do a BA on-line
check-in. There will be a bag to be checked, so I know this goes to
the fast bag drop desk, can they also issue the boarding card at that
desk or do you have to print it at a machine?
BA (Yet another rant)15 May 2004 07:46 GMT6
Ok, so now I know all about BA's on-line check-in with boarding pass
printing. It's crap. Why doesn't that surprise me?
If you fly with KLM, you check-in from 30 hours in advance, print the
boarding pass, go to a baggage drop desk, they check your passport,
LAX GPS rental cars15 May 2004 06:53 GMT3
I am thinking about flying to LAX and renting a mini-van for a pleasure trip
this summer. However I am only interested if I can get a car with GPS. I have
limited time to search for one and I really don't know how except calling every
place in LAX, answering a lot of questions, and ...

B-BOAG looking good...14 May 2004 22:45 GMT6
So I was in Seattle yesterday, and had occasion to drive past the
Museum of Flight (no prizes for guessing who I was visiting).
G-BOAG is fully on display, with (normal airport-style) stairs to the
front and rear doors.  It is actually on the airfield proper, unlike
SFO Question14 May 2004 19:33 GMT4

to get the tram? Thanks

Orbitz questions.14 May 2004 14:40 GMT15
I am in the process of arranging a flight for my friend to come and visit me
from the US to here in the UK.
I am looking at different reasonably priced ways of purchasing tickets for
her.
