This week's edition of BBC's "Fast Track"  discussed the case of a british

I just heard a rumor that there is no air traffic control at the airport
in Kathmandu Nepal.  Is this true, or just urban legend?
Curious is all.
Is Houston's Hobby Airport a problem?10 May 2004 01:37 GMT4
Will be flying for the first time into the little known Hobby airport in
Houston (LGA-HOU). The rates were much, much cheaper than flying into the
southern international gateway, IAH.
But where is Hobby, with respect to the Greater Houston area?

My wife and I are planning an extended vist to Europe this fall.  So
far, the best rates we've abeen able to find are with BMI.  My
questions is, what are they like to fly with?  I'm 6 ft 1" and my
skinny days are behind me.  Are the seats really cramped to squeeze
LAX Hotels09 May 2004 22:38 GMT2
I'm looking for a decent, safe motel/hotel not to far from LAX for one

throughout Southern California.  Shuttles not required as will have a rental
car.  We're traveling with our 20 month granddaughter and ...
EWR-AMS   KLM vs LH09 May 2004 21:40 GMT3
I plan to fly EWR-AMS for a trip to Rotterdam in November.  I am familiar
with LH services and find it acceptable for this route.  LH flies
EWR-FRA-AMS and return.  KLM  flies nonstop.  How does their service compare
with LH?  This will be low fare economy.

We want something with emergency medical evacuation, theft etc
Does anyone know a good source for this type policy?

UK to Bermuda ???09 May 2004 04:09 GMT2
According to BAs website they do not fly from London to Bermuda (Hamilton).
However, the "Oneworld" schedule says that Flt No. BA2233 flies Non Stop
direct from LGW to BDA.  Is this a codeshare and if so who is the Airline.
I don't think it's AA as they fly via New York.
Need airline tickets from Sac to Spokane09 May 2004 03:42 GMT12
for June 24-27th.
I've checked Expedia and Orbitz but each ticket cost about $200. Is
there a better way to find better deals? I will not have any luggage
so I was trying to find if it was cheaper to have a Spokane layover

We might travel by air (USA, domestic) in July with our baby who will be
about 7 months old then. Do they ask for some form of picture ID for
infants? The only ID we have for her is her birth certificate, nothing
with her picture on it - although the birth certificate has our
