Airbus and the Dreamliner24 May 2004 06:03 GMT62
The only certainty is that no one really knows how this will play out.
Anyone who claims otherwise is merely guessing. Meanwhile, this is an
interesting read:

747 to Kos23 May 2004 20:54 GMT1
Air Atlantic Europe are using a 747-200 to Kos this summer as EUK521/2
between 21 July and 6 October, does anyone know what British holiday company
is chartering them, as far as I know it would be the only way to take a 747
to the Greek islands.
Exposed Trolls!23 May 2004 20:10 GMT1
This list is generated by fingering all usenet trolls and noting the

It is posted here so that users don't have to finger the trolls directly

Grandmother who died of jet lag?23 May 2004 18:40 GMT5
I know this is going to sound strange, but recently I read of a true
story of a grandmother who in the 70s (I think) who kidnapped her
grandson by flying him back and forth between the USA and Europe for 6
or so months (and hence being able to avoid the authorities).
Johannesburg - Auckland - best fares23 May 2004 18:38 GMT4
Can anyone help me locate best fares for the Johannseburg - Auckland
stretch?

Anyone  fly Song recently?23 May 2004 17:30 GMT1
Hello, I'm a reporter for a national publication. I'm looking for
people's opinions on this new airline, Song (a spinoff from Delta). If
you've flown it recently and would be willing to be quoted in an
interview by full name and city location and to talk with me by
US Travel - Visa Waiver23 May 2004 13:19 GMT13
I heard somewhere that the US Government were changing the Visa Waiver
Programme so that UK nationals would need to obtain a full Visa from the US
Embassy to travel later this year.
Did I hear correct or have I misheard?
NW cutting trans-Pacific caoacity23 May 2004 08:53 GMT6
By replacing 747-200, DC-10, and some 747-400 routes with A330-200s
between the mainland U.S. and NRT (and beyond) NW appears to be really
cutting back on capacity on the Asian market. (approx. 50-150  per route
per direction per day)

Interesting images of a 737 and the last shot is a 757 being shipped for
assembly.
Jet blue airways22 May 2004 23:15 GMT19
I'm planning a trip to the US in the summer.  As part of this I intend
flying from New York to Tampa. The cheapest flight I can find is on Jet
Blue.  Has anyone got any experience of them?
Thanks
AA BOS-MAN starts tonight22 May 2004 14:06 GMT30
The outbound first BOS-MAN will arrive at manchester in the morning, an
all economy product flown by 757s.
Out of interest I've been watching the seat availability at AA.com for
the flights, and it is showing strong forward bookings going into the
EK @ MAN22 May 2004 09:30 GMT1
Further to the comments in the previous thread, I note today that EK are
seeking a third daily service from Manchester to Dubai, with the option
being looked at of a 0600 arrival and a 0725 departure.
They are whipping QR's a.s with pax numbers, and I can't see RB eing to much
LONDON 2 LISBON22 May 2004 08:54 GMT5
I was wondering if anybody could tell me what Airlines do trips from
London to Lisbon as the only flights to Portugal i have seen on
Easyjet is to Faro.
Many Thanks,
What's really behind the 7E722 May 2004 01:34 GMT3
The news in the link below came out yesterday

surprised no one has posted it so I will.
It seems the 7E7 will change the way an aircraft is controlled, powered
