I plan on taking my father to Munich for Oktoberfest this year.  I'd like to

Does everyone have to remove shoes now?20 May 2004 22:38 GMT24
I haven't flown since last summer and at that time it seemed only
people who had metal in their shoes were removing them to go through
security. However, it seems since then this whole shoe thing has been
getting more attention--not just the metal aspect, either.

United vs. US Airways20 May 2004 18:25 GMT9
I am looking at flights to send my kids to camp, and United and US Airways
have, remarkably, the exact same flight schedules between FLL and CLT.
Besides a few dollars in price, is there any difference between these
airlines? I have never flown on either.

The persistently high price of oil - currently at a 13-year record - may
force airlines to slap a surcharge on tickets, British Airways has warned.
US oil futures flirted with the $40-per-barrel mark last week, and are
predicted to head even higher.
