How far in advance can scheduled flights from UK to US be purchased?
Someone told me only 10 months ahead - is this correct?

I plan on taking my father to Munich for Oktoberfest this year.  I'd like to
try and go first/business class.  I can upgrade using Continental miles, but
if anyone has other advice, I'd love to hear it.  I've heard of people
buying upgrade coupons, but that seems like it could be ...

I haven't flown since last summer and at that time it seemed only
people who had metal in their shoes were removing them to go through
security. However, it seems since then this whole shoe thing has been
getting more attention--not just the metal aspect, either.

I need a consolidator or bucket shop for travel San Francisco to Prague .
Any one have a recomendation.

I just tried to book two air tickets through a tour operator but was told I
HAD to have comprehensive travel insurance (not necessarily their own). If I
book air tickets through one of the carriers I am not asked for this.
I thought that mandatory travel insurance had been outlawed ...

I am looking at flights to send my kids to camp, and United and US Airways
have, remarkably, the exact same flight schedules between FLL and CLT.
Besides a few dollars in price, is there any difference between these
airlines? I have never flown on either.

Also, the MTA site shows the Q11 stops at Howard Beach (JFK) but there is no
Q11 schedule.
Might I presume the Q11 is dead?
