| Trip report: ELAL 007, TLV->JFK | 09 Jun 2004 19:47 GMT | 1 |
Back ups in Ben Gurion security as one of the checked baggage machines wasn't working. I (and several other Israelis) get reverse profiled and get to skip the check. An English guy in the line was moaning and b*tching - "what about me?". Didn't do him any good - he had to wait.

| Is this True, Gary? | 09 Jun 2004 16:04 GMT | 79 |
As you know, Gary, I have tried to be fair and open-minded about what I've read about you here. I've not engaged in the pedo-baiting and molestation flames because I felt they crossed the line and were in the main patently false.

| In Defense of Gary Burnore | 09 Jun 2004 13:19 GMT | 42 |
Like everyone else here I do websites for extra income. Imagine my shock when friends and acquaintances began to tell me they were receiving negative email about me. Apparently a few guys I'd been flaming in a newsgroup took it upon themselves to "net-kop" me by alerting everyone ...

[ This was probably already discussed. But with the length of this flight, I assume they are not flying the polar route. It appears it may be transcontinental North America, then oceanic to Japan/Korea then down. Why would they choose that route, if

| Anyone redeemed their credit card points/air miles to purchase air tickets? | 08 Jun 2004 18:54 GMT | 11 |
With credit cards offering 1 point for each $1 purchase, this could add to 40-50K points/year depending on purchases. So, did anyone use these points to get free air tickets? Most credit cards seem to offer a domestic return ticket for 20K

| Chicago Airport's Train | 08 Jun 2004 13:34 GMT | 2 |
Yesterday, after a tiring transAtlantic flight, we needed to get to another terminal via the elevated train. When the doors opened a vast mob of passengers crowded in until everyone's bodies were crushed together. Those stuck in the middle had nothing to hold on to. One lady ...
