JAL consolidators/West coast Indian travel agents (for ORD-NRT-DEL)31 Jul 2004 07:48 GMT2
I have to go ORD <-> DEL (Delhi, India) with a stop in Tokyo and it is
proving surprisingly difficult. Even the JTB rep I spoke to didn't have
any idea. She said, their Japan office sells Tokyo-Delhi tickets but
she doesn't have access to that data.
Photos at EMA...30 Jul 2004 19:55 GMT5
Is security likely to have issues with me if I take some photos at EMA?
Won't really bother me if I can't, but I'd like to know just in case. Just
some pictures of the terminal building and airplanes, that's all.

Layover at PHL30 Jul 2004 15:15 GMT4
So, I'm going to have about six hours of layover time at Philadephia
Airport on a Sunday afternoon in a few weeks.  For those of you who've
used this airport, is it feasible to take the train into town - say to
Suburban Station - to walk around, maybe get a late lunch, and come back
How do you pass the time on flights?30 Jul 2004 07:52 GMT19
How do you travelers pass time on long flights? I am flying from NY to
Hawaii this coming Saturday - the total flight is 12 hours with 15hour
duration.
The prior plan was to take a water bottle filled with vodka to make the
Orient Thai 747 Bangkok-Chiang Mai30 Jul 2004 05:27 GMT4
On Orient Thai's low-cost subsidiary web site (www.onetwo-go.com) they claim
that their service between Bangkok and Chiang Mai will be on a 747 or 757.
This flight is one hour on a 737 and costs US$25. Do they really do this? Is
this the cheapest 747 flight there is?
NW Airlines flight - "Terror in the Skies"29 Jul 2004 21:20 GMT38
(Salon)---She survived a flight with 14 harmless Syrian musicians -
then spread 3,000 bigoted and paranoid words across the Internet. As a
pilot and an American, I'm appalled.

Kent International29 Jul 2004 21:08 GMT50
The thought of £7.00 each way from Manchester to Kent International
(!) with www.eujet.com sounds very tempting, and I'm thinking of
taking the good lady away for a weekend, later in the year.
One thing though...
AA 3rd degree at FRA---normal? legal?29 Jul 2004 20:14 GMT23
I just returned from a trip to FRA on AA. No hassle on the outbound, but on
the way back, everyone ahead of me in line seemed to be spending five
minutes or more at security. When I got to security, the El-Al-style
questions included:
When the fat lady sings...29 Jul 2004 18:50 GMT12
I had my first experience sitting next to a person of size the other
day.  She had the middle seat, and she leaked over into my window
seat.  If I sat upright instead of leaning toward the window, I would
have been wedged under her right shoulder.  What have you done in
How do I?29 Jul 2004 16:19 GMT6
Wondering about this.
I flew Houston IAH to Washington IAD and it was on a small regional jet
- an Embraer jet with 3 seats across - which I really like because I can
get one of the single seats and thus have both an aisle and a window
CX: JFK-LHR29 Jul 2004 15:10 GMT1
What is the latest news on Cathay Pacific flying from JFK-LHR? I can't wait for that to
start. It would be nice to have Singapore and Malaysia flying that route too.
Thanks,

Transferring at IAD29 Jul 2004 10:03 GMT16
I'm planning a trip to Burlington, Vermont  via Washington-Dulles in
December. Is two hours enough for transfer from KLM  to Independence
Air? KLM flight arives at 14.35 and Independence leaves at 16.25. On
return there'll be lots of time...
