Intl connection thru CVG12 Jul 2004 15:09 GMT2
Let's say I want to fly to Europe.  I'll use SLC-CVG-CDG to make
my point.  Delta's website gives me a few options, with the very first
one arriving in CVG at 6:12 and leaving CVG at 7:10.  Obviously
that is a connection of slightly less than one hour.  That makes me a

LAX.  Every time I go though there, it looks and feels like a bus station.
Flying cows are a danger over the UK !12 Jul 2004 08:46 GMT2
The mad cow disease caused strange mutations , for example flying
cows. These threaten the commercial flights over the UK, so fighter
planes have to fly with them to shoot attacking cows.

I need to get to BCN on 15/7/2004 and return on the 19/7/2004, am prepared
to go any route, any airline, any time, though the flights all seem mega
pricey. Has anyone got any ideas? The best I can find is £300 inc. tax
Iberia.

Parking at STN10 Jul 2004 15:41 GMT6
I'm due to travel from STN next month. Has anyone tried any of the
unoffical car parks at STN? If so, have you any thoughts on security,
value for money, frequency of shuttle buses or any other issues?
Easyjet On Board Baggage10 Jul 2004 13:58 GMT2
From an announcement ive seen today, perhaps some of the comments of
late about Easyjet and their new idea of scrapping carry-on baggage
weights was a little misleading.  No where did I see mentioned that
there were restrictions attached to the new idea!

Kinda hilarious when you go to www.nwa.com and enter flight 1152 for 6/19/04
to check the flight status.
Diversion/delay due to flight crew discretion.

Airlines annoy the heck out of me (2 Reasons given)10 Jul 2004 01:34 GMT20
1)  If every single passenger on a jumbo airplane was using his/her cellphone
at the same time, would this in any way affect the pilots communications?  I've
heard the answer is, "not in the slightest," from a security expert.  WE, THE
PAYING CUSTOMERS, WANT TO USE OUR CELLPHONES!
Results from the word of mouth survey10 Jul 2004 01:09 GMT2
As some of you might remember I posted a survey on this website in
February.  It's taking "a bit" longer to finish the analysis of the
data than I expected but the results of the background information you
provided is now available as pdf-file at the following website:
Can Independence Air kill UAL at Dulles?09 Jul 2004 23:45 GMT6
Does Indy Air have the deep pockets to withstand fare matching by UAL?
I know that Southwest will kill USAirways at Philly within a year, but
I do hope that Dulles becomes another BWI.
