I may have to fly to the Far East and being 6ft 1", I often get uncomfortable on flights. However I see that BA are offering flights in World Traveller Plus to Hong Kong for just over £700 and I'm wondering if the apparent 20% extra room is that noticeable?

I have read in the newspapers that some airlines in Europe have added a fuel surcharge even for tickets sold some time ago. We are to fly from Europe to Canada at the end of the month and would like to know if Air Canada has done something similar.
