Virgin upgrading MAN-Orlando service15 Jul 2004 20:14 GMT5
From 1st May 2005, they'll be basing a 747-400 at MAN to operate this route
and will also make it a daily service from its present 6 weekly frequency.

Do I detect a grudging acceptance of no-frills airlines?
Are they only to be used when nobody is watching and you are paying for the

airport? I looked through various web sites and did not see anything
but I was told a year or so ago that these did exist.

I recently heard that the airlines will no longer allow travelers to use
the lead bags to protect thier film.  Is this true?   I have to pass
through a total of 6 x-rays during my trip and I know that film can handel
5 scans before going cloudy.

I need to travel to bring my kid back home. The situation is there is
no coming-back one way ticket available for my kid but i can get a

I'm wanting to fly from the UK (any airport does but it'll probably end up
as LHR anyway), to Washington DC at the end of September.
Most airlines seem to be quoting around £300 return fare from both
Manchester and Heathrow, which is an acceptable price.

The wife has to fly to Gemany next week and can either go via Heathrow on
the first morning flight out on one of the flag carriers or travel to
Birmingham which is 20 minutes down the road and use Eurowings.
