How to book an 11 month return trip?18 Aug 2004 19:04 GMT3
I'm planning to move from the UK to Australia in mid-Jan 05.  Because
air fares are cheaper in the UK and I want to come back to visit
family regularly, I thought I'd book a return ticket with a date in
Dec 05.
Trip Report LHR - MUC18 Aug 2004 18:52 GMT1
Arrived at Heathrow on A Friday  morning with plenty of time to spare. No
queue at check in and only 5 mins to get through security. Security as usual
quite friendly but not very thourough as it usually isn't for European
flights.

ATC Frequencies18 Aug 2004 00:55 GMT1
I want to know if someone out there could provide me with a URL or other
source for ATC frequencies (tower, approach, ground) for U.S. airports.
Interested specifically in PBI, for scanner use.  Thanks!

New Luggage Brand to consider!17 Aug 2004 10:29 GMT2
I just saw this new brand of luggage @ Sam's Club.
Quality looks good.  Brand is Sigg.  The same Swiss company which
makes the famous water bottles. I picked up the 22" and 26". Quality
looks comparable to some of the higher grade TravelPro luggage.

Can anyone (in the UK) suggest a good travel agent who could organise a 8
day trip to NY and LA (4 days in each) for me please (from Manchester)? I
know about Airline Network, who are superb but I'd just like an alternative
quote.

Lonely flights16 Aug 2004 16:16 GMT17
I remember an uncle of mine telling me how, some 20 or so years ago, he flew
on a DC10 with Lufthansa from Sao Paulo to Frankfurt.
It was New Year's Eve and he was one of only 5 passengers on the flight.
Has anyone any similar experiences of such a lonely flight?
