For the last couple of days I have seen a low flying small/medium
sized two engined passenger jet doing a number of low level flights
over Birmingham city centre.  The flight path appears consistent with
a take off from BHX but is cetainly much lower than would be expected

A report to be published shortly by Manchester Airport plc will outline that
they are fast running out of space to deal with the increase of aircraft
movements. They are now using a consultancy company to look at ways of
expanding the terminals to accommodate another 20 gates.
