I live in Toronto, and was visiting New Mexico in April (a truly lovely place) Checking in on the way home, noticed at the United desk there was a sign stating that anyone carrying a gun must report it to the clerk

I guess I did not fly for a while, although I visit this forum regularly. Well, just booked a flight and was told that within North America virtually all tickets now are e-tickets. Some airlines still give you a paper ticket on request, but at a fee ($20-40, maybe).

I recently went to Europe and booked a hotel in Avignon France through Lodging.com. It turned out, when I arrived in Avignon that the hotel didn't exist. Lodging.com is now reluctant to refund the charge for the reservation on my account, even though the hotel didn't exist.
